Job Descriptions:

Training Design and Delivery

  1. Implement training programs developed by the Islamic Banking Window for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Shariah principles.
  2. Deliver in-house and external training sessions for employees at all levels, including senior management.
  3. Train employees across all levels on the knowledge and application of Islamic banking principles, particularly focusing on the conversion phase.
  4. Provide training to branch and departmental levels simultaneously as per the designed program.
  5. Utilize modern training techniques and tools to ensure maximum engagement and knowledge retention.
  6. Organize regular refresher courses and workshops on evolving Islamic banking standards.
  1. Guide employees on Shariah-compliant banking practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead training on the transition and conversion of conventional banking operations to Islamic banking, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  3. Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Islamic banking-related queries.
  4. Collaborate with Shariah Boards, regulators, and consultants to integrate best practices into training programs.

            Collaboration and Communication

  1. Coordinate with HRD for the identification of training needs and development plans.
  2. Partner with the Chief Islamic Banking Officer (CIBO) to align training programs with organizational objectives.
  3. Provide feedback to Islamic Banking Window on training outcomes and areas of improvement.
  4. Functionally work under the Islamic Banking Window (IBW) and provide progress reports on trainings on a daily or routine basis.

            Monitoring and Evaluation

  1. Develop and implement mechanisms to assess training effectiveness and participant performance.
  2. Prepare periodic training reports and maintain training documentation.
  3. Recommend process improvements based on feedback and evaluation metrics.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Islamic Finance, Business administration, Shariah, or equivalent. Certification in Islamic banking (e.g., AAOIFI, IFSB, CIBAFI, or similar) is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Islamic banking, including expertise in conversion projects. Proven track record in training delivery is essential.

Skills:

    • In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Islamic banking principles, products, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Excellent training and facilitation skills, with proficiency in using modern training tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects.
    • Competency in English and national languages (Pashto and Dari).
    • Knowledge of AAOIFI Shariah Standards, Governance Standards, Accounting Standards, and the accounting standards of IFSB.
