Balkh Air Services is a Ground Handling Company established in June 2013, HQ Office  in  Mazar-e-Sharif.

From the date of establishment BAS is providing Comprehensive Ground Handling Services as sole provider and Airport Maintenance Services at Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi International Airport, Mazare Sharif, Afghanistan.

BAS is now providing Ground Handling Services in Khost international Airport as well.

BAS is the first private Ground Handling Company in Afghanistan to be member of IATA since 2018 and it is an ISAGO certified Ground Handler in Afghanistan since 2018.

BAS has a bright background of providing Ground Handling Services for last 10 years through experts and certified staff by IATA Authorized training centers. Apart from providing such trainings for staff, BAS has committed to facilitate direct IATA trainings for its management out of which obtaining Ground Operations Diploma can be an excellent outcome for it.

BAS is proud to be the first Ground Handler in Afghanistan to start providing services with complete package of professionalized GSE being imported from European countries.

Job Descriptions:

  • Assessing staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Implement smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  • inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
  • Assist Manager with schedules and deadlines.
  • Receiving in-coming documents, circulating the required information, collecting back the responses and writing out-going letters.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
  • Writes and delivers presentations to all other departments regarding policies and practices.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files.
  • Prepare payroll monthly and maintain attendance books.
  • Calculate and maintain leave database for all employees.
  • Maintain employee database and personnel files.
  • Assist all departments to build a good employee relationship and solve any problem regarding this matter.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Prepares reports which might be daily, weekly or monthly
  • Recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

 

 

  • Records financial transactions onto quick book.
  • Maintain check books.
  • Processes purchase orders, checks deliveries, and monitor distribution of goods.
  • Booking ticket, hall, hotel, restaurant as company requirement
  • Journal entries between cost centers and bank accounts.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assists with particular periods end reports and procedures.
  • Response to the staff salary on the basis of payroll.
  • Assist Admin-Finance Manager with policies and procedures, investigations, documentations, budget and other related matters.
  • Record keeping and file management.
  • Any other related tasks given by Admin-Finance Manager.

Job Requirements:

At Least 4 years of experience

Bachelor of BA or any other related field

Excellent Knowledge of English  and Pashto languages

Excellent computer skills (esp.:Quickbooks)

Data Management

have the ability to manage critical situations
