WHAT WE DO:

Global Partners works in the areas of community development, education and training, health improvement, emergency relief, and refugee assistance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Descriptions:

 

  • Admit eligible children into the relevant program for Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) or Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM).
  • Monitor and follow up on SAM/MAM cases, ensuring adherence to the treatment protocol.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including anthropometry and health check-ups, for OPD MAM/SAM cases.
  • Regularly track the weight gain of children admitted to the program.
  • Perform appetite tests for new and returning MAM/SAM cases.
  • Fill treatment cards and ration cards for new and returning children.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for admitted children.
  • Strengthen the referral system between health facilities and ensure proper follow-up on referral cases.
  • Provide health education to beneficiaries, promoting nutrition and healthy practices.
  • Update monthly achievements and monitor project targets.
  • Ensure the correct and proper filing system for all records.
  • Update stock cards and request nutrition commodities supply.
  • Assist other staff in performing food demonstration sessions on a regular basis.
  • Participate in training sessions and attend meetings with Shuras as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments especially Vaccination and Pediatric OPD.
  • Other duties/responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Graduation from a medical institute (Nursing, Pharmacy) is a must.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in same position with NGOs/INGOs.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of English is desirable.
  • Experience with using Ms. Office is desirable.
