Job Summary:
The Afghanistan Integrated Youth Activity’s (AIYA’s) Data Management Assistant will undertake due diligence and compliance checks on vendors and beneficiaries, and maintain relevant compliance-related documentation for the project, ensuring adherence to internal policies and US government regulations.
The Data Management Assistant will be responsible for gathering, entering/recording, managing and reporting on a variety of different types of confidential data.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct background checks on vendors and beneficiaries according to CARE, USAID and US Government policies and regulations. Ensure that checks are undertaken comprehensively according to specific guidelines utilizing online systems.
Gather, review, enter and submit vetting documentation to the USAID Partner Vetting System Portal.
Maintain other personnel-related databases necessary to ensure compliance with USAID and US Government policies and regulations

Education:
Required, Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology or related activity
Desired, Professional certificate in project management and/or English language
Experience:
• At least three years of experience in administration or project management.
• Ability to produce professionally-looking, well formatted documentation with a very high degree of accuracy.
• Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto languages – reading, writing, listening and speaking.
• Computer literacy with MS Office products (particularly Excel) and pdf software
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, problem solving ability, and demonstrable proof of ability to main confidentiality.
