Job Purpose:
The facilitation of child protection activities includes organizing structured psychosocial support and recreational activities for children, conducting life skills sessions, and providing parenting training for caregivers and community members. It also involves implementing community-based child protection programs, such as establishing Community-Based Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs). Case management support is provided through the identification, referral, and follow-up of child protection cases while maintaining confidentiality. Community engagement is promoted through outreach sessions to raise awareness about child protection issues. Monitoring and reporting ensure the quality and compliance of activities, with timely updates submitted to the Child Protection Officer/Coordinator. Coordination with other programs and local authorities is essential for effective interventions, and all activities must adhere to the organization’s child safeguarding policies while maintaining a child-friendly, survivor-centered approach.
