Education Technical Staff for CBE Remedial Classes

Position Overview

The Education Technical Staff for CBE Remedial Classes will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating remedial education programs aimed at supporting students who require additional academic assistance. This role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational administrators to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development: Design and develop remedial education programs and materials tailored to the needs of students in addition to the available materials if required.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify students' learning gaps and evaluate the effectiveness of remedial programs.
• Instructional Support: Provide direct instructional support to students in remedial classes, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to integrate remedial strategies into the regular curriculum and support classroom instruction.
• Training: Train and support teachers and staff on best practices for delivering effective remedial education.
• Monitoring Progress: Regularly monitor and report on students’ progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Parent Engagement: Communicate with parents about their child's progress and collaborate on strategies to support learning at home.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student performance and program outcomes for reporting and improvement purposes.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational settings, specifically in remedial education or special education.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies for diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and assessment tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
