Job Summary

Analyzing, planning and implementing VoLTE network Optimization strategies and solutions to enhance the performance and quality of VoLTE networks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages VoLTE Optimization project to enhance network performance and user experience.

• Analyzes, troubleshooting and resolving on time VoLTE and LTE network issues, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.

• Conducts field drive tests/audits and analyzing data to identify and resolve the network issues and enhance the sites/cells performance.

• Provides technical support and guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders.

• Collaborates with cross functional teams to develop and implement optimization strategies.

• Monitors and analysis daily KPIs and traffic of VoLTE and LTE network to ensure network quality and performance.

• Performs features/parameters fine tuning and optimization of VoLTE and LTE network.

• Performs VoLTE and LTE Worst Cells daily Analysis, troubleshooting and follow up for improvement.

• Fully proficient in set-up, utilization, and data processing of various design and optimization Tools (Netnumen,U2020,TEMS, Actix, Atoll, Planet and MapInfo)

• Carries out optimization techniques (proper antenna selection for optimal horizontal/vertical performance, mechanical/electrical tilting, appropriate transmit power setting, neighbor list and interference analysis.

• Generates VoLTE and LTE engineering related reports.

• Stays updated with the lates technology in VoLTE/LTE, industry trend and optimization techniques.

  I.        Education

·      Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field

        II.        Experience

·      At least 2 years of continuous experience in VoLTE and 4G network optimization.

          III.        Competencies

·      In-depth knowledge of radio network design, planning, optimization, and performance management principles and tools

·      Proficient in using radio network optimization software, such as TEMS, Nemo, Actix, Atoll, Mentum Planet or similar tools

·      Experience with drive test data analysis and post processing tools.

·      Familiar with radio network standards, protocols, and regulations, such as 3GPP, ITU, FCC, etc.

·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·      Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working Conditions: Flexible working long hours including weekends and willingness to travel in case of need.
