We are seeking a skilled IT & Security Camera Controller to manage and maintain the hypermarket’s IT systems and security camera network. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, network security, and real-time monitoring of CCTV cameras to enhance security and prevent any incidents

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Support & Network Management

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, POS machines, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for employees.
• Ensure proper internet connectivity and network security within the store.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access controls.
• Keep IT systems updated and secure against cyber threats.

2. Security Camera Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor live CCTV footage to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or security breaches.
• Maintain and repair security camera systems, ensuring all cameras are functional.
• Store and manage CCTV footage as per company policies.
• Report any security concerns or suspicious activity to management and security teams.
• Ensure backup storage and retrieval of recorded footage when needed.

3. System Upgrades & Preventive Maintenance

• Regularly update software and firmware for IT and CCTV systems.
• Ensure security cameras are placed correctly for optimal coverage.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.
• Recommend and implement security improvements.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with the security team and management to improve security measures.
• Provide training to staff on IT best practices and basic troubleshooting.
• Keep logs of IT and security incidents, reporting critical issues to the appropriate department.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or CCTV surveillance.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CCTV systems, DVR/NVR setup, and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to handle security-related incidents with discretion and efficiency.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Languages: Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English is an advantage.
