uture Generations (FG) is the collective name for an international network of non-governmental organizations including FG Country Programs in Asia and Africa, Future Generations University (FGU) and its alumni in 17 countries, academia, and individual’s experts. The original charitable organization, Future Generations, was established in 1992 for the purpose of learning from, and building upon the world’s most successful examples of community empowerment and social change. It is complemented by the Future Generations Graduate School (Future Generations University) in 2006 in the State of West Virginia with authorization to provide a Master's Degree in Applied Community Change focus on Conservation and Peace building.  The Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) established in May 2002 and obtained its registration certificate from Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan in October 2005.  Since 2007, FGA has been operational in Eastern Afghanistan, and successfully completed development and humanitarian programs in Nangarhar, Laghman , Kunar, Nuristan, Logar, Wardak, Nimruz, Herat, Kanadahar, Badghis and Bamyan Provinces

Market linkage officer will be responsible for developing business plan, business strategies, market assessment, prepare report and linking the beneficiaries with market and suppliers. practicing linkage of trainees with related dealers in a market during and after the training he/ she will organize job fairs exhibition. The market linkage officer will be working on promoting the quality of products and enhance marketing advantages for entrepreneurs placement in the targeted market 

• The Market Linkage Officer will be responsible for establishment and maintaining a list of local enterprises in the targeted location in Panjshir provinces and identify the potential enterprises for market support.
• H/she will Facilitate Producer Groups to develop marketing plan and meet entrepreneurs for other technical needs
• Propose technical and non-technical training for Entrepreneurs and Producer Groups on marketing of their produce.
• Propose technical and non-technical training for Entrepreneurs and Producer Groups on marketing of their produce.
• facilitate linkages between enterprises & Producer Groups such as bulk purchasing sub-contracting and collective marketing.
• identify exhibition opportunities for products and facilitate the Producer Group members to participate in exhibitions.
•  Facilitate targeted Producer Groups to collect and analyze information on the basic pricing system.
• Facilitate exposure visits for enterprise groups within the project locations
• Work jointly with vocational trainers and trainees’ producer group members and entrepreneurs for providing technical supports in terms of identifying type of vocations enterprises and product design as per market demand.
• Prepare training modules to the individual producers and producer groups on marketing of their producer and linkages with market actors.
• Conduct and deliver marketing and Business development training to entrepreneurs and Producers groups in target locations.
• Contribute in conducting assessments surveys sectorial value chain assessments.
• Work closely and conduct regular meetings with producer group member’s entrepreneur’s business entities and market actors to promote the quality of products and sales and marketing.
• Work closely with vocational trainers and trainee’s producer group members and entrepreneurs for providing technical supports in terms of maintaining proper book keeping system.

Qulification:

Good English writing and speaking skills

Fluency in Pashto / Dari

Computer and internet literacy

Must have Interpersonal Skills ( Leadership, Communication, Presentation, Team Work)

Good marketing skill
