MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country.

The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies.                         
 MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

1. Community Mapping and Identification:
   • Conduct integrated CEP community mapping to identify highly vulnerable populations in sectors such as nutrition, health, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), education, and child protection.
   • Maintain updated community profiles and vulnerability maps.
2. Community Awareness and Information Dissemination:
   • Raise community awareness and provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive information about available services in nutrition, health, WASH, education, and child protection.
   • Ensure inclusive outreach targeting marginalized and vulnerable groups.
   • Facilitate public information campaigns using Information, Education and Communication (IEC) and Community Engagement and Participation (CEP) materials.
   • Support mass information dissemination through posters, leaflets, community announcements, ensuring messages are culturally appropriate and contextually relevant.
3. Two-Way Community Engagement and Dialogue:
   • Facilitate community dialogues, focus group discussions, household visits, and interactive meetings to gather community feedback on services and humanitarian interventions.
   • Foster constructive relationships with community leaders, women’s groups, youth, and other stakeholders.
   • Encourage community participation in decision-making related to project activities.
4. Feedback, Complaint, and Suggestion Collection:
   • Proactively collect feedback, complaints, and suggestions from affected populations regarding their needs, service gaps, protection concerns, and service satisfaction.
   • Use tools such as feedback forms, suggestion boxes, help desks, CEFC, U Report and community meetings to facilitate information flow.
5. Referral and Follow-up:
   • Document and refer feedback and complaints to the relevant departments as per the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and CFM referral pathways.
   • Ensure confidentiality, neutrality, and timely handling of sensitive complaints, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and Child Safeguarding cases.
6. Feedback Analysis and Response:
   • Ensure accurate recording, categorization, and timely reporting of all feedback and complaints in the AAP online system.
   • Follow up with responsible teams to ensure timely, appropriate, and documented response is provided to the community.
7.  Community Group Engagement (Grandmother Groups (GMGs), Youth Volunteers, Religious Scholars (Tavoon), School Management Shuras, etc.):
   • Establish, engage with, and strengthen community-based groups such as Grandmother Groups (GMGs), Youth Volunteers, Religious Scholars (Tavoon), and School Management Shuras (SMS) to promote community participation and ownership in project activities.
   • Conduct regular monthly meetings, dialogue sessions, and awareness campaigns with these groups to deliver key messages on health, nutrition, WASH, education, child protection, and other life-saving interventions.
   • Facilitate capacity-building sessions for these groups to enable them to act as community resource persons, change agents, and feedback channels between the community and service providers.
   • Collaborate with religious leaders and scholars (Tavoon) to disseminate culturally appropriate behavior change messages, particularly on hygiene, health-seeking behaviors, and child protection norms.
   • Engage School Management Shuras (SMS) to promote education access, especially for girls and vulnerable children, and to address barriers to education.
   • Work with Youth Volunteers to encourage peer-to-peer education, community mobilization, and youth-led advocacy on community health and protection issues.
   • Support all groups in identifying community needs, reporting concerns, and mobilizing collective community action for sustainable development and improved service delivery.
   • Document the outcomes and feedback received from these groups and incorporate their inputs into project planning and implementation processes.
   • Reporting and Documentation:
   • Prepare and submit timely and quality monthly activity reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, community concerns, and key learning.
   • Contribute to the documentation of success stories, case studies, and community testimonials on a monthly basis.
8. Liaison and Coordination:

• Coordinate closely with local authorities, humanitarian actors, community leaders, and service providers to strengthen accountability to affected populations (AAP).
• Participate in relevant coordination meetings and humanitarian forums when required.

11. Awareness Sessions on Key Behaviors:

• Conduct awareness-raising sessions for beneficiaries on key life-saving messages, behavior change topics, and available services.
• Support community-led initiatives that encourage positive health, hygiene, education, and child protection behaviors.

12. Other Duties:

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager or project management, contributing to the overall goal of enhancing community accountability and engagement.
• Support in emergency response activities when required.

🔹 Bachelor of Social Degree, Medical Doctor or Nurse
🔹 At least 5 years of experience working in health project particularly in BPHS/EPHS, FHH and Non BPHS HFs

Key Skills:
• Strong facilitation skills for training and on-the-job mentoring
• Excellent oral and written communication
• In-depth knowledge of local communities and cultural contexts
• Strong interpersonal, managerial, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in English and local languages (Dari and Pashto)
• Effective negotiation in multicultural and multilingual environments
