Job Description

  • Develop and oversee project work plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure timely and quality implementation of all project activities across sectors.
  • Supervise project staff, including trainers, community mobilizers, and field teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
  • Facilitate coordination with local authorities, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
  • Prepare periodic project reports, including narrative and financial submissions to donors.
  • Identify risks and challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Promote learning, knowledge sharing, and capacity-building among project staff.
  • Any other tasks assigned by senior management or the donor, as required.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing community development or education projects in NGOs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, reporting, and donor compliance.
  • Ability to work in challenging and remote field environments.

Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive project work plans and schedules.
  • Timely donor-compliant project reports (narrative and financial).
  • Documented staff performance reviews and capacity-building records.
  • Risk assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Evidence of successful project implementation and community impact.
