Finance Specialist

VDO is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization established in January 07, 2015. VDO ‘s efforts focus on changing mentalities and attitudes about women’s participation and contribution in the society. Not only, it also focuses on economic development, advocacy, research and girl’s education.

• Lead the development of detailed donor budgets and financial proposals.
• Monitor grant expenditure and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare donor financial reports, including budget variance explanations.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and internal controls testing.
• Support financial audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Build capacity of finance officers and assistants through training and mentorship.
• Any other tasks assigned by the senior management & donor, as required.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably with NGOs.
• Familiarity with international donor requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analysis tools.

Deliverables:

• Monthly donor compliance reports.
• Grant financial tracking sheets.
• Variance analysis reports.
