Job Description

Position Definition:

Lead Moby's FMCG business unit with full P&L ownership, combining strategic business development with operational execution across the Afghanistan market.

Key Role:

Drive rapid market entry, build sustainable revenue streams, build a distributor network, and scale FMCG operations from launch to profitability.

Strategic:

  • Design and refine business models (Moby FMCG)
  • Shape go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning
  • Develop distribution models and logistics frameworks with MOAM
  • Identify new product categories and manufacturing partners for expansion
  • Present business cases and strategic plans to Quqnoos leadership

Operational:

  • Oversee National Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams (16 people)
  • Manage partnership execution with manufacturing partners (Kalleh/Solico)
  • Ensure on-time product launches and market readiness
  • Monitor daily P&L, inventory, and cash flow
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Moby Media and MOAM Logistics
  • Weekly performance reporting to BD Manager 

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years FMCG experience with 3+ years in senior management
  • Proven P&L ownership and multi-city team leadership
  • Strategic thinking: business modeling, market entry, partnership structuring
  • Strong Afghanistan market knowledge and distributor networks
  • Experience launching new brands or categories from scratch
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
