Job Description

  • Ensuring that the SHCs are supplied with all drugs and medical supplies required, and that those items are stored correctly and used appropriately.
  • Responsible for the efficient running of the medicines warehouse in Nangarhar.
  • Accurate documentation and calculation of drugs in stock, drugs issued to the SHCs.
  • Physical inventory of medicines on a quarterly basis to ensure adequate stocks are available in the provincial warehouse at all times
  • Analyze drug consumption patterns from the SHCs reports to develop standard drug supply systems to prevent stock ruptures, misuse or wastage.
  • Prepare monthly reports on drugs issued, consumed and stock balances
  • Prepare and send all medical related waybills and GRNs to log manager quickly and accurately, signing and noting any discrepancies.
  • Make periodic visits to SHCs to supervise stock management practices and record keeping.

           Ensure that the warehouse cold chain is working at all times and in case of long power failure that               the generator is started

Job Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacy technician from a recognized institute  
  • At least one years of experience in a similar position.
  • Fluency in written and spoken local language.
  • Having skills in computer applications such as Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to rural locations.

         Knowledge of local environments
