Job Description

Job Summary: 
Eriell Kam is seeking a highly organized and ethical Procurement Officer to manage our purchasing activities and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at the best possible prices while maintaining high quality standards. This role is critical in supporting our facility management and operational projects by ensuring supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and full compliance with company policies and international procurement standards.
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors. Maintain a healthy database of potential sources for goods and services.
Purchasing Operations: Prepare and process purchase orders, requests, and contracts in a timely manner.
Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost savings and favorable payment terms.
Quality Control: Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all procured items meet quality specifications and project requirements.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with Eriell Kam's internal policies and maintain accurate records of all transactions and generate regular procurement reports.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to advise management on the best time to purchase.
Logistics Coordination: Work with the logistics team to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to the required sites
 

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience: 5 years’ experience in the same position with different national and international organizations
Technical Skills: 
•    Solid understanding of contract law, tendering processes, and procurement regulations 
•    Ability to analyze quotes, budgets, and financial documents accurately.
•    Strong working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with Procurement software 
Personal Skills: 
•    High level of accuracy in documentation and order processing 
•    Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced 
•    Proactive approach to resolving supply chain disruptions or vendor issues
Languages: 
•    Dari: Fluent (Written and Spoken).
•    Pashto: Fluent (Written and Spoken).
•    English: Professional proficiency (Written and Spoken).
•    Russian: Advantage (Considered a strong asset)
