Organization for Research and Community Development (ORCD) is a nationally registered, non-profit organization operating in Afghanistan which was establised in 2011. ORCD is committed to improving the well-being and resilience of vulnerable communities through integrated programming in education, livelihoods, protection, health, and community development. With operational presence across multiple provinces, ORCD implements community-based, inclusive, and sustainable interventions that prioritize women, youth, and displacement-affected populations. ORCD has experience partnering with UN agencies, international donors, and government counterparts, ensuring transparent implementation, strong monitoring and evaluation, and measurable impact at scale.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 10-day pre-service and refresher trainings
- Mentor facilitators
- Ensure adherence to UNESCO curriculum
- Support quality assurance

Lead and conduct Skills and Literacy training sessions in accordance with the approved curriculum and project objectives.

Develop training materials, lesson plans, and instructional tools to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Train and mentor facilitators and field trainers to maintain quality standards.

Monitor and evaluate trainees’ progress and provide technical support where needed.

Ensure integration of literacy with vocational/skills training components.

Prepare training reports and maintain proper documentation of activities.

Coordinate with the Project Manager and M&E team for planning and reporting purposes.

Ensure gender-sensitive and inclusive training approaches.

Support curriculum adaptation based on local context and beneficiary needs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Education/TVET
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community-based PSS

Strong knowledge of adult learning methodologies and curriculum development.

Good reporting and documentation skills.
-
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
