Job Description
The Technology Sales & Integration Officer is a combined techno-commercial role responsible for driving HB's Technology & IT vertical. The incumbent will bridge technical product knowledge with client-facing sales and coordination of last-mile integration and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close B2B sales opportunities in the Technology & IT sector, targeting NGOs, government entities, telecom, energy, and construction clients
- Provide pre-sales technical advisory to clients on hardware, networking, power, and IT equipment sourced through HB's 40+ country supply network
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions aligned with HB document standards
- Coordinate with distribution partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and on-site commissioning
- Manage client relationships from initial engagement through post-delivery support
- Monitor pipeline, track sales targets, and report on performance to management
- Represent HB at client meetings, sector events, and procurement forums
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or systems integration in IT, telecom, energy, or related sectors
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals with NGOs, government, or private sector clients in Afghanistan
- Solid understanding of hardware products (networking, power systems, IT equipment) and basic integration requirements
- Strong proposal and communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English
- Existing client relationships in target sectors are a strong advantage
- Operate under a performance-linked compensation model; earn a defined commission percentage on every successfully closed project in addition to a fixed monthly salary
