Job Requirements
- Installation: Installing and testing electrical systems, including conduits, cables, and wires for telecommunication infrastructure (City Power / DG Power / Solar Power), solar system, adhering to safety standards. Installation and programing of DG Display (Deep Sea Screen Controller). ATS (Two Source / Three Source), Stabilizers (Single Phase, Three Phase) and Telecom Rectifier Modules (Huawei / ZTE/ Siemens)
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing AC/DC power systems, generators, and battery backup systems (City Power / DG Power / Solar Power), Grounding System (Earthling Pits)
- Cable Work: Splicing, pulling, and terminating, Ethernet (CAT4 / CAT6), Coaxial, and Power Cables.
- Site Infrastructure: Setting up cell site electrical equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and ironwork/ladder racks.
- Testing: Using specialized test equipment (Multi-meter, Cable tester, Load Banks) to verify circuit integrity and identify faults.
- Safety & Compliance: Following strict safety protocols, including working at heights on towers or in confined spaces like manholes.
- Reporting: Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance through Excel / Word / PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma, with technical training or certifications in electronics or electrical engineering preferred.
- Experience: 3 Years experience in electrical installations, specifically with DC power systems and telecom equipment.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, troubleshooting abilities, and ability to read technical drawings.
- Physical Ability: Ability to climb poles, work on ladders, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Certifications: Often requires relevant industry-specific certifications, such as a wireman’s license or specialized telecom equipment training.
- Work Environment
- Locations: Involves both indoor work at central switching offices and outdoor work at cell sites.
- Conditions: Requires climbing towers or working in underground vaults.
Emergency Response: May require working unconventional
