ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.
ASLO is Currently working in the Following sectors in Afghanistan:

• Legal Aid and access to justice.
- Troubleshoots networking and software problems.
- Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and ensure that it is operating properly
- Manages Microsoft Windows Driver Kit.
- Ensures that the Computers are installed with genuine software
- Manages Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack For Software Assurance.
- Manages and Maintains Wireless Network.
- Manages all IT related issues and provides support to IT officers across the Country and Provincial offices.
- Ensures that computers are installed with licensed anti-virus software (periodically updating of virus scanning programs).
- Maintains the computer hardware Inventory.
- Maintains the computer/printers/scanner etc manuals, installation DVD/CD libraries
- Assists staff in using the Microsoft Office and provides training using Microsoft Office
- Assists staff in re-structuring of computer directories and guide them on making standard filing system.
- Updates the inventory of computers, printers, scanners, UPS, stabilizers etc.
- Cooperate with all staff in a friendly manner so as to encourage team spirit.
- Carries out other necessary tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
Education
Essential : A university degree in the field of computer science or information technology (eg computer engineer, programmer analyst) in communications engineering. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator)
Desirable : A postgraduate degree (master’s degree) in the fields of information and communication sciences and technologies or in another related specialty. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator)
Experience
Essential : At least one (1) year of progressive and practical experience in the field of administration of information and communication technologies. Experience in training staff in the use of information systems.
Desirable : Relevant experience in the field of administration and maintenance of LAN network infrastructure (Routers, Switches, servers, etc.), virtualization, Cloud and software as a service (SaaS), technology Voice over IP (VoIP). A good knowledge of new collaborative tools (Teams, WebEx, ZOOM, SharePoint, etc.) and Cybersecurity.
Skills:
A very good knowledge of LAN and TCP/IP networks, Windows 10, Windows 2012/2019 Server, Microsoft Active Directory. - A good knowledge of the field of Cybersecurity and computer security (Firewall, antivirus), - A good knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures. - Good knowledge of database programming.
