Job Descriptions:

Job holder Responsibilities

Responsibile for overall End User Support; configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all approved hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mouse, keyboard, monitors, copiers, witches, routers, firewalls, cabling, wireless bridges/routers, external drives and other peripherals) and software components (Windows 2010 Professional, Windows 2011) and related environments of AZB’s Local Area Network in Kabul and other branch offices all across Afghanistan.

 

Provide first and mid-level IT support. Troubleshooting IT software & hardware issues. Coordinating the IT Helpdesk Log. Assist in investigating and reporting on new IT software's fit within the organisation.

  • responsible for analysing, troubleshooting and evaluating technology issues.
  • Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution and trouble ticket follow-up for routine user problems.
  • Informs appropriate managers with concerns relating to system operation and personnel; suggesting and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinates AZB NOC work order assignments.
  • Troubleshoots and solves IT related problems for users and escalates issues as required.
  • Thorough knowledge of company guidelines and procedures, assisting subordinates in the department with related questions and information.
  • Applies IT best practices in carrying out his/her duties
  • Responsible for being on time to work consistently and being flexible to support projects that require off hours activities
  • Interfaces with all levels of IT and other departments in all areas of the company.
  • Responsible for solving complex, cross-functional issues reported to the AZB NOC or assigned by management
  • Should be able to apply good analytic process to any issue to help come to resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
  • At least two years of experience working in IT field, also we give chance to fresh graduate.
  • CCNA Certified /A++ Certification / CompTIA IT Certifications and MCSA certification (certified people will be highly preferred)
  • Must have a background in installing, administering and trouble-shooting the Microsoft Windows 2010 and/Windows 2011.
  • Must have a background in configuring, assembling, integrating and trouble-shooting Intel-based PCs and Laptops.
  • Must have a strong background with TCP/IP and related protocols such as DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and SNMP; and networking products such as Ethernet hubs and switches.
  • Must have knowledge of Q System Machine.
