About Loy Kandahar Reconstruction Organization (LKRO):

LKRO is a national NGO established in 1992 and registered with Ministry of Economy under License No.183 and is member of SWABAC NGO Coordinating Bodies.

LKRO has completed more than 185 large, small and medium size projects in the last 27 years of its operation in Afghanistan.  These are in the sectors of health (disability, nutrition, health education etc.), sustainable community development, Livelihood, Youth Empowerment, Child Protection, Research Studies, Education, Environment and Capacity Building of CDCs, DDA, Youths and Governmental Employees.  Most of these projects/programs were funded by the UN agencies such as UNDP, UNOPS, UNHCR, WFP, WHO, UNICEF and Government such as MRRD, NEPA along with other international donor organizations such as ICA, IOM, TDH, Japan Embassy (GAGP Unit), Oxfam, Action Aid, Counterpart International, Caritas-Cordaid and SC.

Job Descriptions:

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this role is to engage with CBE-ALC classes teachers, ensuring their active participation and oversees their class management. The job holder will work with teachers to address CBE,sanitation, and hygiene needs, select beneficiaries, monitor progress, and support disaster preparedness efforts.

  • Observing lessons and identifying teachers’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Providing feedback, advice, and individual training sessions for teachers.
  • Organizing workshops, training sessions, and events where guest speakers inspire teachers.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop improved curricula, lesson plans, assessments, and classroom management techniques.
  • Setting weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals for teachers as well as students, and providing advice and guidance to ensure these goals are met.
  • Returning to classrooms to reassess progress once teachers have completed their training.
  • Supervising classroom activities, taking notes, and writing up reports to share with school administrators and relevant stakeholders.
  • Developing new strategies and plans for an improved learning experience.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in teaching as well as your relevant subject area.
  • Building teacher networks and encouraging teachers to share their resources and knowledge.

  • Actively promote PSEA standards within Loy Kandahar Reconstruction Organization (LKRO) and amongst beneficiaries served by LKRO.

Compliance & Ethics:

  • Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout and within Loy Kandahar Reconstruction Organization (LKRO). As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of withinLoy Kandahar Reconstruction Organization (LKRO) and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards.  Conducts tasks with the highest level of integrity.

Job Requirements:

Experience: 2-3 years experience in Educational field especially in community based education prrogram, practical training background. 

The trainer should have at least baccalaureate degree. 

The trainer should have enough experience in community education field. 

Good Interpersonal Skills, Good Organizational Skills

Good training opportunities to enhance trainees skills
