job summary
A Community mobilizer/ project supervisor/mentor works with midwives as a mentor. It is responsible for maintaining a close relationship with the communities to facilitate a smooth program and project implementation. Facilitate awareness on health creation measures facilitate responses to the community and develop contact and professional relationships with community elders, religious leaders, and the Community Development Councils. She will ensure the smooth running of assigned project activities in the targeted areas and report to the project manager. She will represent the organization as an intermediary with the committees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma of midwifery CME/IHS/Privet /Nurse CHNE/CME/Privet and have experience in the relevant field of community mobilization
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience
Others
Good knowledge of community dynamics, power structures, and socio-cultural in the conflict-torn areas
Good coordination, networking, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and diplomacy.
Good communication and liaison skills with the community and all staff.
Good capacity and analysis of conflict management to provide advice to the population.
Written and spoken Dari, Pashto and English are a plus.
To be able to propose solutions to the identified needs.
Flexibility is requested regarding the working hours and the live-in community after the working hours.
Dynamic to motivate the team
Preferences will be given to residents.
