In due course of time, the Bank intends to expand its Branch Network in Kabul as well as at other key locations of the Country.

 

Job Descriptions:

As Business Development Head your responsible to:

  1. To write, vet and update Manuals, Policies, Procedures and checklists for BD department regular intervals. 
  2. Preparation of Annual business Budgets Forecasting:

He ensures that annual budgets of the department and forecasting are prepared and approved for each financial year and are followed & implemented where possible.

  1. Responding & Handling the Audit Committee & Internal Audit team:

He ensures that the affairs of the BD remain always in order and complaint with the bank policies and internal audit inspection/checks conducted by IAD team and provide cooperation and necessary access to records as and when requires.

  1. Writing the proposals for ministries NGOs and other required organizations.
  2. Visit of branches for business purpose and development based on BD yearly plan.
  3. Achieving the business targets
  4. Conducting of meeting with BD officials weekly and monthly based on BD yearly plan.
  5. Preparing and presenting monthly or quarterly based on advice of BOM and annual report to senior management.
  6. Responsibility for the daily management and implementation of the marketing BD program for the bank, converting the full marketing mix of advertising/Media/PR (Public Relation)
  7. Manage and oversee the social Media aspects of the bank’s web presence e.g. Blog linkden, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  8. Help implement site developments and introduce new ideas where necessary.
  9. Record of key client database management of profile.
  10. Participation for national expositions for expanding business relations.
  11. Generating new business leads
  12. To manage, plan, organize, control and guide day to day activities of the BD side of the bank at Head Office as well at Branches of the Bank.
  13. Job Descriptions & staff Appraisals:

  He ensures that proper Job description is written and given to each employee working under Operations department with the help of Manager HRD and these are updated from time to time. He also ensures that periodical appraisals/evaluations are done for every employee working under him and submitted to HR.

  1. Customer Service:

 To ensure that best possible service standards are maintained in head office & all Branches and complaints lodged by the clients if any are attended and grievances addressed in best possible manner.

  1.  Provide strategic planning for the   marketing department
  2. Plan a successful marketing strategy.
  3. Design and implement incentive system for sales team with the approval of top management.
  4. Develop a sales team.
  5. Provide clear cut direction, motivation and leadership to the sales team.
  1. Expand market share, increase share of mind and share of heart.
  2. Brand development.
  3. Provide communication strategy.
  4. Enhance and build positive market image.
  5. Coordinate with other departments.
  6. Provide training to the sales team.
  7. Meet and visit key customers.
  1. Building relationship with embassies & national/ international NGOs.
  1. Inviting and participating in the customer’s parties to strengthen business relationships in coordination with CEO.
  1. Distribution of gifts and congratulatory message on New Year & Eid occasions for key customers. 
  2. Implement relationship of marketing.
  1. Conduct market research.
  1. Ensure for the maintain data base of customers for CRM.
  2. Design and suggest product mix.
  1. Department Heads are not permitted to accomplish changes or perform a task which is excluded his daily activities that could embrace a minimum possibility of risk percentage to the bank in this case department heads must take approval of Chief Executive Officer or related committee.
  1.  To attend to any other matter that may not have been mentioned in this document but advised by Head of Department

Public Relation

  1. Responsible for planning, organizing and directing Bank’s internal and external events. 
  2. Liaison with media and advertising companies.
  1.  Provide leadership for all public relation activities and manages relationship with the media.
  1. Compose, edit and circulate the Bank’s public relation materials i.e. news release, fact sheet, articles etc.
  1. Ensure that all required legal & compliance approvals of all marketing and public relation materials are completed, and maintain in centralized files for audit purposes
  1. He is Responsible to review and approve all the printing materials such as brochures, magazine, envelops, bank profile, designs and others that maybe required.
  1. Responsible for regular training in respect of transferring of Knowledge making of capacity building of their staff so as to provide proper guidance to them about their duties, office manners, etiquettes and how to attend to their respective tasks.
