SEO is a local NGO founded in 2008 to assist in humanitarian aid, education, returnees, internally Displaced People (IDPs), economic development, demand-driven vocational training, apprenticeship, income generation projects, and legal assistance. SEO's current projects in Afghanistan include Emergency Response, Food Assistance Distribution, Education, Legal Assistance, and Economic Growth for marginalized populations, Returnees, Internally Displaced Persons, and vulnerable families.

The Team Lead will oversee client relationships and manage the field team throughout the project. Key responsibilities include designing and field testing survey tools, translating questionnaires into Dari and Pashto, and ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy. The role also involves implementing robust quality assurance measures, training survey enumerators, and managing the data collection process. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing field teams, proficiency in Dari and Pashto, and a strong background in quality assurance and data validation. 

• Client Relationship and Field Team Management: Maintain strong client relationships and manage the field team effectively during the project lifecycle.
• Tool Design, Field Testing, and Implementation: Oversee the design of survey tools, conduct field testing, and manage the implementation process.
• Translation of Survey Questionnaire:  Translate the survey questionnaire into Dari and Pashto.
• Ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness during the translation process.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance measures to review and validate the translated questionnaire before dissemination.
• Ensure comprehensive training for enumerators, conduct regular supervision and monitoring, implement data validation procedures, and maintain transparent documentation of quality assurance activities.
• Field Testing: Conduct field testing of the survey questionnaire to ensure its effectiveness and reliability.
• Training of Survey Enumerators: Provide thorough training to survey enumerators to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
• Data Collection Management: Manage the data collection process to ensure timely and accurate data gathering.

 Qualifications:

 Proven experience in data collection, managing field teams and client relationships.

 Expertise in survey tool design, testing, and implementation.

 Proficiency in Dari/Pashto, with strong translation skills.
