About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD)) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

Job Descriptions:

The Report writing Focal Point is reportable to BARAN Dy. Technical Director, and he will spend 50% of his time in the field for verifying reports in the PMO & HFs and the following items are the main responsibilities of Report writing Focal Point:

  • Writing and compiling all reports for the organization.
  • Follow up of stakeholder’s action plans and progress.
  • Compiling annual, end of the project reports.
  • Field verification and cross check of action plan and reports in the field.
  • Review of all project reports, shared by PMO before submission.
  • Support other CMO staff in their regular reporting system.
  • Regularly visit the fields BARAN PMO and HFs.
  • Conducting of any other task given order and released from line manager based on organization context.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of proven experience in the field of public health particularly BPHS( HMIS, monitoring and evaluation and project manager) .
  • Having Medical doctor or master’s degree in public health.
  • Professional proposal and report writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language and fluent in a local language.
  • Proficient computing skills word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations.

Other skills required:

  • Efficiency, result-oriented and excellent management capabilities.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner.
  • Problem solving/ conflict resolution.
  • Ability to travel around the country.
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills, cross-cultural and gender sensitivity.
  • Ability to use information technology effectively.
