Job Purpose:
The logistics Intern will support the logistics team on Procurement related duties to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Procurement/ Log Department, reporting to Logistics assistant, The logistics Intern will facilitate and support the logistics unit in their day-to-day activities as well as support fleet, warehouse, The logistics Intern will receive necessary training to be prepared for the tasks and with guidance from the supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse:
• Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and amongst beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.
Compliance & Ethics:
• Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the International Medical Corps. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of International Medical Corps and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity.
Safeguarding
• It is all staff’s shared responsibility and obligation to safeguard and protect the populations with whom we work, including adults who may be particularly vulnerable and children. This includes safeguarding from the following conduct by our staff or partners: sexual exploitation and abuse; exploitation, neglect, or abuse of children and adults at risk; and any form of trafficking in persons.
Education Required:
• Graduated from BBA Business administration/economics/ Supply Chain and logistics.
Experience Required:
• No professional experience required, however candidates with a maximum of 6 months experience may also be considered.
• Very good knowledge on Computer operation specially in MS office, MS Excel, and internet browsing.
Competency:
• Have good IQ and basic understanding on development and humanitarian work.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills (oral& written) in English.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from requisitioners, or any other related sections.
• Drive to achieve results.
