Job Summary:  

We are seeking an experienced and passionate ACCA/FIA Lecturer to join our academic team at NEOM Afghanistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic environment. This role requires a strong understanding of the ACCA and FIA syllabi, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and engage learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instruction:

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in line with the ACCA/FIA curriculum.
• Prepare and update course materials, including lecture notes, presentations, and assignments.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
• Conduct classroom discussions, case studies, and group activities to reinforce key concepts

Student Support:

• Provide academic support and guidance to students
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and class participation.
• Offer constructive feedback to students to help them improve and succeed in their exams.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest developments in the ACCA/FIA syllabus and accounting standards.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in organization meetings, departmental activities, and other academic duties as required.
• Assist in the planning and organization of exams, including invigilation and marking.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• ACCA Membership or equivalent professional accounting qualification (Preferred).
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 9 ACCA papers passed, or a Master’s degree with at least 6 ACCA papers passed.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience in ACCA/FIA or similar programs.
• Proven track record of helping students achieve high pass rates in ACCA/FIA exams. 

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of the ACCA/FIA curriculum and exam requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.
• Proficient in the use of educational technology and learning management systems.
