INTERSOS is an International non-profit humanitarian aid organization that works to bring assistance to people in danger, victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts. Assist in the implementation of MEAL activities, according to MEAL Officer indications, and conduct MEAL surveys and monitoring exercises in line with the MEAL plans, ensuring accountability and efficiency of the established data collection tools and of the related findings and results.

Tasks

• Support field monitoring activities (household surveys, focus group discussions, key informant interviews, etc.) as per the MEAL plan, and process.
• Support translation of monitoring tools and uploading in the kobo and DB.
• Support data entry and update of project & MEAL Databases.
• Perform regular field visits to check on MEAL & project-related activities.
• Support the Accountability staff in raising awareness and sharing information about CRM in the field locations.
• Support the Accountability staff in informing the affected population about available mechanisms for feedback and complaints.
• Participate in the organization of training and learning workshops.
• Support the MEAL Officer in drafting regular reports as requested.
• Support the MEAL Officer in the training of enumerators, and in the organization of related activities
• Perform any other tasks requested by the direct supervisor.

Education

• Degree in Statistics, IT, Information management, Social Science, Demography, or any closely related field.

Professional experience

• Previous experience in relevant position

Professional requirements

• Strong knowledge of MS. word, excel and internet.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation practices or project management.
• Experience in different types of data collection and data management.
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Languages
