We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform woodwork-related tasks, including construction, repair, and finishing. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, estimating materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in all carpentry tasks.

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings for construction and repair projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates of materials and tools needed based on project plans and specifications.
• Perform woodworking tasks, including cutting, forming, assembling, and finishing materials as required.
• Set up and operate carpentry tools and machines to ensure precision and efficiency.
• Carry out wood repair and finishing work, including surface treatments and refinishing.
• Install, repair, and replace locks and lock cylinders as necessary.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Comply with safety regulations and industry standards for carpentry work.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Carpentry or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Carpenter.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability in woodworking, repair, finishing, and installation.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using woodworking tools and equipment to cut, shape, and finish materials.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and construction drawings.
• Material Estimation: Competence in calculating material requirements based on project specifications.
• Trade Certification: Holds a valid Trade Certification or Trade License from a recognized Afghan institution or authority.
• Work Verification: A certificate from a previous employer or contractor attesting to technical capability and experience.
• Quality & Safety: Strong commitment to high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
