Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations anywhere all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background.

HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HHRD needs one Female psychotherapist for comprehensive physical rehabilitation center for people with disability , he will receive 18000 AFN monthly salary including all benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform psychological assessment of patients and counseling services to the beneficiaries/clients.
• Assess the psychosocial need of children, women, and girls for psychosocial support in the community.
• Utilize appropriate protocols and guidelines of general health.
• Assess patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history reviews.
• Diagnose beneficiaries/clients accurately.
• Develope comprehensive treatment plans and psychological consultations
• Consult with her colleagues in the team and other psychologists.
• Regularly follow up with the patient to check progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
• Thoroughly documenting each patient's diagnosis, symptoms, treatment effectiveness, etc.
• Provide patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorder.
• Research new developments in psychiatry and mental health and apply according for the patients he receive.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in psychiatry, psychology, from recognized university.
• At least three years of working experience with NGOs or government in relevant position.
• Attended psychosocial standard trainings would be an asset
• Strong Command on English and Pashto/Dari.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent in English,Pashto and Dari typing.
