Western ISP & ICT Solutions Services Company began its business operation as a hardware and network solutions providing company in January 2016, and the company has developed the team for running ISP business during the year of 2017 and collaborated with leading ISP and GSM companies in Afghanistan. The Company invested in ISP section and in a short period of time it has built its infrastructure to operate as an independent ISP company and acquired its ISP license from Ministry of Communication and information technology – ATRA (Afghanistan Telecommunication Regulatory Authority in May 2022. Western is focusing exclusively in high quality and cost-effective internet services  across Afghanistan. We are advancing on a tremendous pace and with involvement of skilled and experienced people working in the organization. Western is aimed to provide solutions and ISP services for all sectors and sections in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

Position Summary

The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing all contractual agreements within the organization, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing risks effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of contract management in the ISP and ICT industry.
This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments, including procurement, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure that all contracts align with the organization's strategic objectives. The Contract Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with vendors, partners, and clients while optimizing contract terms to benefit the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting, Negotiation, and Review

Develop, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and regulatory compliance documents.

Ensure all contracts align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Work closely with legal counsel to mitigate risks and resolve contractual disputes.

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions that optimize costs and minimize liabilities for the organization.

2. Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure all contracts comply with national and international regulations relevant to the ISP and ICT sectors.

Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet their obligations.

Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations in compliance with company policies.

3. Contract Administration and Record-Keeping

Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract database, ensuring easy access to critical information.

Track contract deadlines, renewals, and expiration dates, ensuring timely action is taken.

Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, and opportunities for senior management.

4. Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders

Act as a liaison between the organization and external partners, including vendors, clients, regulatory authorities, and service providers.

Work closely with internal teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure contracts align with business goals.

Provide training and guidance to relevant teams on contract management best practices.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Contract Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in contract management, preferably in the ISP, ICT, or telecommunications industry.

Technical Skills: 

Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.

Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience working with legal teams and regulatory authorities.

Soft Skills: 

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
