Objectives of the Position
The primary objective of the Program Officer is to oversee the successful implementation and management of programs within the organization. The officer will work closely with stakeholders, including internal teams, partners, and donors, to ensure the timely execution and delivery of program goals and outcomes.
Scope of Work
The Program Officer will oversee the full lifecycle of assigned programs, including planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This includes coordinating activities, managing resources, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets, and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders. The officer will also play a key role in establishing monitoring frameworks, conducting assessments, and providing technical support to ensure the effective delivery of program goals. The scope of work will also involve fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, and contributing to the capacity building of staff and partners. The Program Officer will ensure that all programs align with organizational objectives and donor requirements, while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and impact, the program officer is expected to reviews, improve and develop required policies of CDRO, additionally, he/she will be fully responsible for the SHAPE-Plus Twinning program. The Program Officer will continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, ensuring that all programs maximize their effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
