Afghanistan Development and Welfare Services Organization (ADWSO), an Afghan Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) operates in Afghanistan since December 2008. ADWSO’s priority sector areas are Child Protection, Capacity Building, Rule of Law and Women Empowerment.

Job Summary:
The officer will ensure gender integration and safeguarding across all activities, deliver PSEA trainings, support safe reporting, and lead the 16 Days of Activism campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct gender assessments and support Gender Action Plan implementation.
• Facilitate training on gender equality and SEA prevention.
• Lead efforts on safe, accessible reporting mechanisms.
• Organize and document outreach and awareness campaigns.
• Liaise with UNDP Gender Specialists and field teams.
• Monitor implementation of gender-sensitive activities across all project components.
• Develop IEC materials and culturally appropriate content for local dissemination.
• Build capacity of local organizations on safeguarding and inclusion standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Gender Studies, Law, Human Rights, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in gender and safeguarding work.
• Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English.
