MgtWell Consulting Services offers a comprehensive range of management consulting services and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our M&E services are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the program and system-level performance and include; baseline surveys, household surveys, third-party monitoring and verification, KAP surveys, field data collection, mid-term & final evaluations, and formative and summative research. Position Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems for a variety of development and humanitarian programs. The Specialist will provide technical expertise in data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning to ensure evidence-based decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Master’s degree or higher in Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
Demonstrated experience in M&E with consulting firms and development organizations..
Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems, methodologies, tools, techniques, and processes.
Strong track record of producing high-quality analytical, summative, and evidence-based reports.
Solid understanding of current M&E trends, frameworks, and practices within development organizations.
Proficiency in quantitative data analysis using software such as SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
Skilled in qualitative data collection and analysis, with experience using tools such as Atlas.ti.
Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Demonstrated ability to document, disseminate, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Experience conducting research, assessments, and evaluations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Fluency in English, Pashto, and Dari (written and spoken).
Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours when required.
