Job Descriptions:

  • Forecasting needs of vaccines, vaccine materials, and cold chain equipment required for the target health facilities.
  • Prepare the VRF and ensure that vaccines are supplied to the target districts timely.
  • Collect vaccines from the PEMT storage facility and deliver them to assigned health facilities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery as per the distribution schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain the required temperature conditions during vaccine transportation.
  • Monitor vaccine management and injection safety performance indicators at the health facilities level, for the most effective/efficient use of vaccines and vaccine materials utilization
  • Follow-up on deliveries of vaccines, vaccine materials, equipment, and supplies for health facilities; Ensure back-up of essential requirements are stocked in sufficient quantities at the health facilities and provincial office reserve stock for all supplies.
  • Follow-up of vaccine utilization and monitoring of vaccine wastage in health facilities.
  • Report any deviations or issues in the cold chain immediately.
  • Verify vaccine quantities during collection and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of vaccine stock and delivery logs.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to vaccine handling and transportation.
  • Submit regular reports on deliveries, including any challenges faced.
  • Collaborate with PEMT staff and health facility personnel to ensure smooth vaccine distribution.
  • Address any logistical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma & Nursing diploma, with additional training in supply chain and cold chain management; experience in vaccine handling is a plus.
  • At least one year of experience in cold chain management and vaccine handling procedures.
  • Must be fluent in local language.
  • Excellent time-management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned province
