Conduct a hydrologic review study including rainfall and flood level data to establish hydrological and hydraulic parameters for fixatioin of the formation level of the railway embankment and track, opening of the bridges and culverts, and also design of scour and erosion protection in the vicinity of major bridges and river banks according to the prevailing site conditions.
Quantities and cost estimates
Hydrological Studies & Data Analysis:
- Analyze rainfall, surface runoff, flood levels, and groundwater data.
- Perform watershed and catchment area analysis near the railway alignment.
Flood Risk Assessment:
- Assess potential flood zones along the railway route.
- Identify high-risk areas and propose flood mitigation measures.
Drainage Design:
- Design effective surface and subsurface drainage systems (culverts, channels, ditches) to prevent water accumulation near the railway track.
- Ensure proper alignment of drainage structures with railway geometry.
. Hydraulic Structure Design Support:
- Collaborate with structural engineers on the design of bridges, culverts, and retaining walls with appropriate hydraulic capacities.
Compliance with Standards:
- Ensure designs meet national and international railway and hydrology standards (e.g., AREMA, UIC)....
