Job Descriptions:

  • Manage the overall operation of the pharmacy department, including staffing, budgeting, and workflow.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practice and medication handling.
  • Oversee procurement, storage, and inventory control of pharmaceutical products to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage pharmacy budgeting and financial performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on new medications, pharmacy technologies, and industry trends.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve medication-related issues professionally.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid license.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmacy practice, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
