About Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO):

ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.

Job Descriptions:

  • Provide strategic leadership and management of PHC and SHC services to ensure effective and efficient healthcare delivery.
  • Oversee daily operations of health facilities including clinical, administrative, and support services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor healthcare policies, protocols, and standards in line with national health regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Lead and mentor healthcare teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and professional development.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and procurement to optimize facility performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community stakeholders to enhance healthcare access and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate healthcare programs and services, utilizing data to drive improvements.
  • Address patient concerns and ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Promote health education, disease prevention, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, health authorities, and donors as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in PHC/SHC settings.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems and data management.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including healthcare professionals, patients, and community leaders.
