ORCD Global Inc. is a U.S. based non-governmental, and not-for-profit founded in 2017. ORCDG was registered in the State of California, United States of America (USA) on 05 November 2017 (Registration No: C4076735). Later, it was registered as an international organization in Afghanistan in December 2018 (Registration number 460).ORCDG has so far implemented 21 projects in various provinces of Afghanistan, and currently has around 6 ongoing projects in Kabul, Paktya, Parwan, Baghlan, Ghazni, Paktika and Kunduz provinces.
. Mobilize target communities and beneficiaries to participate in project activities.
· Facilitate the formation of community poultry producer groups or cooperatives.
· Support awareness sessions on gender, nutrition, and livelihood sustainability.
· Work closely with local leaders, CDCs, and women’s groups to ensure inclusive participation.
· Gather feedback from beneficiaries and share with project management.
· Conduct training sessions on poultry management, including housing, feeding, vaccination, disease control, and egg/meat production.
· Develop and use practical, easy-to-understand training materials (in local language).
· Demonstrate proper poultry rearing techniques (feeding, hygiene, breeding).
· Support beneficiaries in constructing poultry shelters and applying good management practices.
· Conduct follow-up visits to provide on-site coaching and problem-solving.
· Coordinate with veterinary service providers for vaccination and treatment support.
· Maintain records of trainings, attendance, and beneficiary progress.
· Collect data on poultry productivity, mortality, and income changes.
· Report challenges and field observations to the supervisor on a regular basis.
· Contribute to success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.
· Ensure compliance with organization’s safeguarding, gender, and accountability policies.
