Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

The IT/Logistic Assistant will support the organization’s logistics and IT operations by ensuring timely procurement, transportation, inventory management, and technical support. This role is vital for maintaining efficient supply chain operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics & Procurement Support:
  • - Assist in procuring goods and services in compliance with procurement policies.
  • - Coordinate transportation and delivery of supplies to project sites.
  • - Maintain inventory records and support warehouse management activities.
  • IT Support & Maintenance:
  • - Provide basic technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • - Maintain office IT equipment and ensure regular updates and maintenance.
  • - Assist in setting up workstations, printers, and internet connections.
  • Administrative & Reporting:
  • - Ensure proper documentation of logistics and IT support activities.
  • - Support the preparation of reports related to logistics and IT equipment usage.
  • - Assist in tracking service and maintenance schedules for IT equipment.

  • - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • - Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or IT support roles, preferably with NGOs.

  • - Knowledge of basic networking, computer systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • - Familiarity with logistics operations, procurement processes, and inventory systems.
  • Soft Skills:
  • - Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Other Requirements:
  • - Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; basic English proficiency preferred.
  • - Willingness to travel to field locations.
