True and Valuable Aids to Nation Organization (TAVAN) is a registered, non-profit organization officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number 5982. Established over two years ago, TAVAN has substantial experience in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), entrepreneurship, and women’s economic empowerment. The organization focuses on inclusive economic growth, job creation, and capacity building, with proven expertise in implementing donor-funded projects in Balkh and other northern provinces.

Job Descriptions:

Position Summary:

The Business Development Consultant (BDC) will provide technical support to selected MSMEs under the project. The role includes conducting business diagnostics, providing tailored capacity-building, supporting prototype development, mentoring MSMEs, and facilitating market linkage activities to ensure sustainable growth and improved business performance.

Job Requirements:

Conduct business diagnostics and gap analysis.
Deliver tailored MSME training sessions.
Support product prototype development and quality improvement.
Advise on financial management and record-keeping.
Mentor MSMEs on market expansion and customer engagement.
Facilitate B2B linkages and networking.
Monitor and follow up on recommendations.
Experience in market linkages, product development, and business capacity building is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, mentoring, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to multiple MSMEs.
Knowledge of local business environment and MSMEs challenges in Balkh province.
To perform any other tasks as requested by line manager.
