MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited (“the Company”) has been incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited liability company on 09 September 2008 under the Corporation and Limited Liability Companies Law of Afghanistan. The registered office of the company is situated in Kabul, Afghanistan.The company was established by MCC Tongsin Resource Limited (“MCCT”) and Jiangxi Copper Company Limited (“JCL”) for the implementation of the Mining Contract for the Aynak Copper Deposit signed between the Government of Afghanistan and MCC-Jiangxi Copper Consortium (“the Consortium”) on 25 May 2008 (effective date 08 September 2008). The Consortium comprises of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (“MCC”) (parent entity of MCCT), and JCL. Under the Mining Contract, the Consortium was granted mineral rights for a period of 30 years to undertake exploration, exploitation, processing, smelting and sale of the Aynak Copper Deposit
1. Educational Background: Associate degree or above, with priority given to candidates majoring in international trade, customs management, logistics management, business English, or related fields. Candidates with relevant customs qualification certificates will be given priority consideration.
2. Professional Skills: Familiar with Afghan customs regulations and the operation process of the Afghan Customs Electronic Declaration Platform (GD Declaration); possess solid document review capabilities and be able to accurately identify the compliance of various customs clearance documents; possess basic English reading and writing skills and be able to handle English documents; those who are proficient in the local language (Pashto, Dari) will be given priority.
3. Work experience: 1-3 years of experience in customs clearance, international logistics or related port supervision, with preference given to those familiar with the transit transportation process at the Kabul port (from the borders of Iran, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan to Kabul); those with experience in handling duty-free goods and customs clearance will also be given preference.
4. Overall Qualifications: Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, a rigorous work attitude, and a strong sense of integrity and self-discipline; can strictly abide by regulatory requirements; has excellent communication and coordination skills, and can efficiently connect with various parties such as freight forwarders, consignees, and border enforcement agencies; possesses strong problem-solving and stress resistance abilities, and can properly handle abnormal situations during customs clearance; is proficient in using office software and can complete basic administrative tasks such as document archiving and report preparation.
5. Other requirements: No record of illegal or disciplinary violations, meeting the political review requirements for customs employment; able to adapt to outdoor work scenarios such as port on-site inspection, and possessing good physical fitness.
