Operation Mercy is an international Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Ministry of Economy under Registration Number 190. All Op Mercy Projects are implemented in cooperation and coordination with the Government, the United Nations, and with other International NGO’s.

Key Result Area (KRA) 1:              the Female MD will:

1. Provision of essential health services for the people in need specially women and children.
2. To perform emergency first care if needed.
3. Dispensing of rational medicines usage to patients in BHCs.
4. Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
5. Ensure the patient's triage registration and measurements of vital signs.
6. Provision of OPD services and community awareness of diseases and vaccines.
7. Evaluating all children for acute malnutrition and recording measurements of SAM on the treatment card.
8. Considering the needs of patients and writing appropriate prescriptions.
9. Maintaining patients' confidentiality and respecting their human dignity.
10. Examining patients and referring complex cases to higher-level health facilities.
11. The proper registration of patients’ information.
12. Dressing and first aid care of injured patients if needed.
13. Recording and reporting of beneficiaries or patients regularly.
14. Identify any patient needing urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped health center.
15. Register any patient coming to seek care in the registration book.
16. Accompany patients to the external referral health facility when required.

• Graduated from an accredited medical faculty with successful completion of the exit exam.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in BPHS, EPHS health facilities or similar projects, post-graduation.
• Received Up-to-Date training in Health Management Information System (HMIS).
• Completion of the full IMNCI training package.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in BPHS, EPHS health facilities or similar projects, post-graduation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Pashto,Dari and working knowledge of English.
