Maywand Foundation is a national non-governmental organization implementing primary health care and community-based health programs in Afghanistan in close coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and in alignment with WHO and UNICEF standards. The Foundation supports the delivery of quality Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) services, including the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), with the aim of reducing morbidity and mortality among women and children.
To strengthen routine immunization, cold chain management, data quality, and supportive supervision across all supported provinces, Maywand Foundation is seeking a qualified and experienced EPI Supervisor.
• Medical Doctor, Nurse, or Bachelor degree in Public Health or any other discipline with strong working background of EPI/PEI.
• Strong knowledge of MoPH EPI strategy, WHO standards, and UNICEF-supported immunization systems.
• Experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or MoPH is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel to provinces/district and remote health facilities.
• Strong reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; and working knowledge of English
