Job Description
The Digital Marketing Officer will oversee a wide range of content creation and strategic communication tasks. This role involves developing and managing a content calendar that aligns with Zoodpay's program priorities, including creating engaging social media posts, videos, and graphics.
The officer will lead the production of digital campaigns for key events and manage the internal newsletter. Additionally, they will implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers, analyze digital trends, and refine strategies based on data insights.
The incumbent will also spearhead digital marketing campaigns, collaborate with influencers, and ensure that all digital content adheres to Zoodpay's branding guidelines and strategic goals while maintaining brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Duties and responsibilities
- Website Management: Oversee our Content Management System (CMS) by optimizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Ensure that all content is current, maintains a consistent tone of voice, provides a clear user journey, and measures performance against specific KPIs.
- Content Creation: Write engaging content tailored for various audiences that aligns with brand guidelines. Stay informed about all aspects of Trees for Life’s work to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Social Media: Plan and coordinate a schedule of activities across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to expand our social media audience.
- Advertising: Manage Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising and online ad campaigns, regularly reviewing and adjusting keywords and ad groups to optimize performance. Additionally, maintain our presence on third-party sites, ensuring all messaging is current.
- Email Marketing: Plan and execute a regular schedule of email marketing activities aimed at growing our subscriber base. Create engaging and relevant content, including testing strategies to optimize results.
- Print Production: Coordinate the printing and production of our magazine, leaflets, banners, and other materials, including writing, editing, and proofing. Organize occasional print advertisements.
- Brand Compliance: Implement brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all areas of work.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor, report, and analyze results to enhance performance using tools like Google Analytics. Make necessary amendments and improvements based on findings.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement. Carry out additional duties as required, in line with the responsibilities of this position.
- Motion Graphics Design: create visually engaging animations and videos that combine graphic design with animation to effectively communicate ideas through dynamic visuals. Will work on various projects, including social media content, website animations, and video marketing materials.
- Graphic Design: create visual concepts to effectively communicate ideas and messages to consumers. They are responsible for the overall layout and production design of various applications, such as websites, advertisements, brochures, and magazines. Key responsibilities include meeting with Zoodpay Sr. Management to discuss project requirements, developing design concepts, selecting appropriate media and design elements, preparing drafts, and ensuring that the final product meets Zoodpay's needs and quality standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years of working experience in digital marketing or a related role
- Certification in Graphic Design and Digital Marketing is preferred.
- Strong professional skills in graphic design, including image and video creation, with a high priority placed on motion graphics expertise.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience with SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and various social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
