Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD) and Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
The EPI Supervisor is direct reportabale to Project coordinator;
The following items are the main responsibility of EPI officer;
Responsible for the EPI activities of the project;
Ensure the health facilities have functional and proper vaccination units both in clinics, and outreach;
Ensure that all vaccines supplies are available in each health facility;
Supervise, evaluate and follow- up the activity and output of vaccinators in all selected health facilities and outreach activities;
Ensure vaccination reports are prepared properly and submitted timely;
Responsible to maintain effective coordination and close communication with PPHD,UNICEF, REMT and Regional EOC at provincial to ensure proper EPI services both at fixed and outreach level;
Ensure on-job training and supportive supervision of health facilities staff (vaccinators), of Fix and outreach and conduct on the job training as per need of the project;
specific focus to maintain cold chain of vaccines and requisition, receiving and supply procedures and recording documents as per National EPI and other MoPH/related guidelines and policies;
Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and requested.
At least 3 years of proven experience at health section in EPI .
Doctor or Nurse degree;
Strong communications skills.
Fluent English ,Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations.
