Job Description
- Manage the gender department and ensure effective implementation of the organization's gender policy.
- Develop and regularly review the organization's gender policy in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on all gender-appropriate activities and initiatives within the organization.
- Advocate for and protect gender rights within the organization.
- Monitor the actions and behaviors of employees, managers, and the organization as a whole to ensure alignment with gender rights and policies.
- Participate actively in all gender-related meetings and contribute to key organizational decisions.
- Advise the head of the organization on gender-related adaptations and issues.
- Maintain comprehensive gender-related documentation and records.
- Fulfill any other responsibilities assigned by the head of the organization and their deputy.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in identifying and addressing gender-related challenges across different departments.
- Ability to effectively handle and follow up on gender-related complaints and issues.
- Strong understanding and commitment to defending gender rights.
- Competence in developing comprehensive gender policies in consultation with organizational leadership.
- Proven track record of monitoring and reporting on gender-related matters to organizational leadership.
- Involvement in shaping human resource policies with a focus on gender equality and inclusivity.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing employment contracts with a gender-sensitive approach.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution among employees.
- Capability to provide informed advice on a wide range of important organizational matters.
- Adeptness in delegating tasks and responsibilities among employees while considering gender dynamics.
- Proficiency in monitoring employee activities and proposing appropriate incentives and disciplinary actions.
- Full command of English language,
- full familiarity with Microsoft Office software
