The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. NAC works in the following sectors: Education, Gender and Human Rights, Governance and Civil Society, Health, Food Security, Job Creation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation. The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Any breaches of PSEAH clauses in NAC’s policies, guidelines, and/or commitments will lead to immediate termination and possible legal actions.
Perform duty in official hours, provide OPD service.
Take an accurate history, perform a thorough examination
Ensure privacy of the patients
Prescribe treatments according to MOPH and WHO guidelines
Give advice and health education to patients
Evaluate seriousness of diseases and refer to higher health facilities if necessary.
Registration of patients and recording related documents
Fill HMIS tally sheet
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly activity reports to NAC
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly medicine report to NAC
On time ordering of needed supply
Any other task assigned by line manager
Language requirements, if any:
Fluent in Dari/Pashtu and work-related English languages.
Qualifications Required:
Graduated from recognized medical faculty.
Must have certificate of specialist in any medical field.
Good and kind character
Knowledge of BPHS & EPHS
Knowledge of HMIS
Work Experience:
One year experience after specialization.
Skills:
Having knowledge of using computers.
Having good communication skills.
Ability to making a good decision and solving problems.
