Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the incumbent of this position will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patients’ psychological assessment.
• Play a dynamic role in the team, conducting the comprehensive psychosocial assessment of the patients during all stages of addiction treatment.
• Conduct regular inquiry into the psychological state of patients and report to the Supervisor of the center.
• Conduct psychological intervention during the all-treatment phases.
• Keep a regular record of patients.
• Fill in the section on psychological history.
• Refer of patients to other service providers, if necessary.
• Monitor and supervise the psychological state of patients on regular basis.
• Control and supervise the general hygiene of the hospital.
• Provide home-based services and a psychological evaluation of patients.
• Keep an eye on the hygiene of food materials and the kitchen.
• Check the psychological state of patients during admission.
• Prepare treatment plan for each patient according to his/her needs.
• Conduct Trainings/lectures and other learning sessions on selected topics for the patients.
• Attend the center for the night – shift and public holidays as scheduled by the Project Coordinator.
• Any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or successor.

• Bachelor Degree of Psychology, Education, and/or Sharia faculties.
• 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Must be fully familiar with Drug Treatment Psychology
• Knowledge of the local community structure dynamics and Drug Treatment Centers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in local languages.
• Ability to travel frequently to the program communities and visit the drug-addicted patients.
