Job Descriptions:

SUMARRY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

The FSL Program Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) program under the ABADEI project. This role involves handling program administration, supporting field activities, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient coordination of program operations.

Key Responsibilities

        1.      Program Administration
        •       Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of FSL program activities in alignment with project goals and objectives.
        •       Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining program schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing documentation.
        2.      Documentation and Reporting
        •       Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, beneficiary information, and project documentation.
        •       Compile, prepare, and submit regular progress reports, data summaries, and other documentation as required by the program management.
        3.      Logistical Support
        •       Coordinate logistics for program activities, including procurement of materials, distribution of supplies, and organization of training sessions and field visits.
        •       Assist in managing inventory of program supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
        4.      Financial Administration
        •       Support the financial administration of the FSL program, including processing invoices, tracking expenditures, and assisting in budget monitoring and financial reporting.
        •       Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures in all program transactions.
        5.      Beneficiary Coordination
        •       Maintain effective communication with beneficiaries to ensure their participation and engagement in program activities.
        •       Assist in the identification, registration, and monitoring of program beneficiaries, ensuring accurate data collection and management.
        6.      Monitoring and Evaluation Support
        •       Assist in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities, including data collection, surveys, and assessments.
        •       Compile and analyze data to support program evaluations and inform decision-making.
        7.      Stakeholder Liaison
        •       Facilitate communication and coordination with local authorities, community leaders, partner organizations, and other stakeholders involved in the FSL program.
        •       Represent the program at meetings, workshops, and other events as required.
        8.      Capacity Building Support
        •       Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions and capacity-building activities for staff, beneficiaries, and partners.
        •       Support the development of training materials and resources to enhance program implementation.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Business Administration, Agriculture, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in program administration, logistics, or support roles, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
           

 Skills:
        •       Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
        •       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        •       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
        •       Basic understanding of financial administration and budget management.
        •       Ability to collect, compile, and analyze data effectively.
        •       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
        •       Personal Attributes:
        •       High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
        •       Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
        •       Flexibility and adaptability to changing program needs and priorities.
        •       Willingness to travel to field locations as required.

 Language: Proficiency in English and fluency in local languages.
